Karhal is a prominent town in Mainpuri district in state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Basically it is a tehsil of Mainpuri district. It is situated in between district Mainpuri and Etawah. And having equal road distance (27 km) from both districts. It is having the status of Nagar Panchayat and also is an assembly constituency (Vidhan Sabha).
